Rounded corners and a floating start menu among other improvements: this is what Windows 10 will look like with the fall update

We are attentive to the improvements that Microsoft can introduce in future Windows 10 revisions. For now we know that the spring update will be very light, almost a server pack and everything encourages us to look towards autumn, a period that can indeed offer an update full of improvements.

"

Hopefully Microsoft is betting everything on a big update in the fall of 2021 And we don&39;t know if in that update we could see some of the new things they are already working on with the Sun Valley update. And among all of them now we look at a floating start menu for Windows 10, also with some softened corners and no angles"

An important aesthetic change

We have seen how the interface will change with the arrival of rounded corners to the menus and along with this improvement we have now also seen what a new floating start menu for Windows 10 looks like. A design in which for the first time, the start menu is separated from the taskbar in a way and who knows if we could end up taking it anywhere on the screen.

This new floating menu, echoed by Windows Latest, offers rounded corners and shows a free space between it and the taskbarEven, in the jump list menu, it also appears that separation with corners without angles.

Smoother corners with Sun Valley, which looks set to leave behind the sharp corners that came with Fluent Design, recovering part of the look of previous versions of Windows .

Rounded corners that seem to reach all sections of Windows and even, with a new contextual menu, also floating, with the options when we use the right mouse button, I would also bet to abandon the sharp corners.

Windows 10 Sun Valley or what is the same, the branch 21H1, will focus on rounded corners, but improvements will also arrive regarding features such as Aero Shake, a new battery monitor, dedicated webcam setups and more.

To see these changes in the Windows 10 interface, we will still have to wait several months and before that the update with the branch must arrive 21H1 that should be released this spring, to see how the 21H2 version of Windows 10 arrives later.
