How to switch from a Microsoft account to a local account (and vice versa) in a few steps

Access to our PC can be done in different ways, but a good number of users make use of either a local account or a Microsoft account to be able to have your system protected and at the same time your devices synchronized. However, it is possible to switch from one type of account to another without major problems
Having one type of access or another depends on the needs of each one. Making use of a Microsoft account facilitates the integration in the cloud of all the Microsoft services that we have associated and, for example, we can synchronize the configuration with the cloud to take it to all computers with the same user account.But despite these advantages, there are times when it can be interesting to have a local account to maintain the independence of the team. And here we are going to see how to go from one to the other without much problem.
From Microsoft account to local
For this first part, we are going to switch from a Microsoft account to a local account. And for this, the first thing we have to do is enter the Settings panel and access the Accounts section."
Inside we will look for the side panel and in it we will click on the title as Your information, a point where we can access all the our account information. At this point we must look for a section with the text Login with a local account instead and click on it."
After a warning message asking us if we want to switch to a local account, a configuration wizard will appear to continue Step by Step. In the end, we only have to restart the system and we will use
The first point is to confirm our identity, marking the user account that we are going to use. To do this we will have to use one of the methods offered, which may vary depending on the equipment's features. Along with the option to enter the password of our Microsoft account, we can also use the fingerprint reader or the Windows Hello PIN to authenticate ourselves.
We will go from there to configure the new local Windows 10 account by entering a username for the account, the password that we are going to use for accessand a password indicator in case we might forget it.
At that point, the configuration wizard ends its function showing a kind of summary of the new local account and if we are satisfied, we only have to click on Close session and finish Our team will adapt to the new configuration and from that point we will be able to access with a local account."
We won't lose any type of information, since both programs, applications, data and settings will remain unchanged.

From local account to Microsoft account
The first part is identical to the step we have seen before. We must go to the Settings menu and access the Accounts section to then look for Your information, only that now the text that we will see indicates Login with a Microsoft account instead… and on it we click."

Once the system has verified our identity, all that remains is to restart the system and from that moment we can log in using the same password that we use in our Microsoft accountthat we have linked.
