July's Patch Tuesday arrives and with it

In the middle of the week it's time to talk about updates but also, this time we have to refer to Microsoft's Patch Tuesday. It is the moment that takes place on the second Tuesday of each month in which the American company releases new updates for different versions of Windows.
And as happened in June with that giant patch, now Windows 10 May 2020 Update receives again a new update aimed at correcting some bugs and errorspresent since the day of its launch. A Patch Tuesday carrying build 19041.388 to Windows 10 2004.
Improvements and news
- This build improvees security in the Microsoft Store.
- Added updates to improve security when using input devices (such as a mouse, keyboard, or stylus).
- Updates are coming to improve security when Windows performs basic operations.
- Added updates for storing and managing files.
- Fixes an issue in certain apps that use the ImeMode property to control the Input Method Editor (IME) mode in Windows 10, version 2004 (May 2020 Update). For example, this issue prevents the input mode from automatically changing to Kanji or Hiragana.
- Fixes a bug that could prevent you from using PowerShell to change system locale on Server Core platforms.
- This update fixes an issue that could cause certain games and applications to have visual distortion when resizing in windowed mode or switch from full screen to windowed mode.
- Fixed an issue that could cause lsass.exe to fail with the error message: “A critical system process, C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe, failed with code status c0000008. The machine should now reboot ".
- Resolves a bug that could prevent some applications from printing documents that contain graphics or large files after installing Windows updates released on June 9, 2020.
- Fixes a bug that could prevent you from connecting to OneDrive using the OneDrive app.This issue occurs on some older devices or on devices that have older apps, which use legacy file system filter drivers. As a result, this could prevent these devices from downloading new files or opening previously synced or downloaded files.
- A series of patches are added to improve security in Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Store, Windows Graphics, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Management, Windows Kernel, Windows Hybrid Cloud Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows Update Stack, Windows MSXML, Windows File Server and Clustering, Windows Remote Desktop, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge Legacy, and Microsoft JET Database Engine.
In the meantime, Microsoft has announced that starting this month, the various updates it releases for Windows will disable the RemoteFX vGPU featureThis override is due to a discovered security vulnerability and once this feature is disabled, attempts to start virtual machines (VMs) will fail, displaying the following error messages:
- "The virtual machine cannot be started because all GPUs that support RemoteFX are disabled in Hyper-V Manager."
- "The virtual machine cannot be started because the server does not have enough GPU resources."
If you re-enable RemoteFX vGPU, you will see a message similar to the following:
"We no longer support the RemoteFX 3D video adapter. If you still use this adapter, you may become vulnerable to security risks. Learn more (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/? linkid=2131976”
Along with Windows 10 2004, Several updates have also been released for other versions of the operating system in the case of Windows 10 October 2018 Update by middle of build 17763.1339 as well as Windows 10 versions 1803 in Build 17134.1610, 1709 in Build 16299.1992 and 1607 in Build 14393.3808.
