Finally, Microsoft offers a new look for those who are part of the Dev Channel to enjoy. The new Start Menu ends with the solid colors that supported the applications, leaving a more integrated look with the overall system.

Tiles now offer a consistent look and feel, with semi-transparent backgrounds that better integrate with the new icons that Microsoft has gone releasing.

In addition, it increases the degree of customization. If we have dark mode active and accessing the route Settings > Personalization > Color and checking the option Show the accent color on the following surfaces, we can achieve a more refined look on Start, Taskbar, and Notification Center"

Alt+Tab switches between tabs and applications

With the arrival of Build 20161, by pressing Alt + Tab we can access all the open tabs and switch between them, being able to choose to show only the three or the most recent five. And if it doesn't convince us, we can go back to the classic system from the path Configuration > System > Multitasking. The only requirement is to have Edge in the Canary or Dev version (83.0.475 or higher).

Customizable taskbar

The taskbar gains customization capacity, something directly related to the configuration of the device. The pinned applications will be related to the apps and the way we use the PC, a change that, yes, will only apply to newly created accounts.

Optimized notifications

Microsoft improves notifications and now adds icons that make it easier for us to identify the application to which each notification corresponds. An X also appears to facilitate closing the notice. On the other hand, if we have the concentration assistant activated, we will not see an icon indicating that it is active.

Other updates for Insiders

The graphic mode feature that was released to Insiders in January is here. Adds support for graphics in what was one of the top feature requests from users.

Plot one or more equations on the graph: Multiple equations can be entered so that plots can be compared against each other and see interactions between the lines.
Add Equations with Variables: If equations with variables are entered (for example, y=mx + b), it will be possible to update the value of those variables to see the changes live on the graph.

Known Issues

Working to fix an issue that causes some systems to hang with an error check HYPERVISOR_ERROR.
