Microsoft follows its road plan with the Windows 10 update and releases Build 19624 for Fast Ring insiders

Microsoft has once again released a new Build with which to continue polishing the development of Windows 10 ahead of the spring update that it is more than imminent. The month of May will be intense in the Microsoft offices and we have seen the first steps with the presentation of the Surface Book 3 and the Surface Go 2 as well as two new headphones:
And now, regarding software, from Microsoft they have released Build 19624 for all those who are part of the Fast Ring within the Insider Program.A compilation with some interesting new features that we will now see and in which error corrections cannot be missing.
Changes and improvements
- Temporarily Disabled the new search box on the default Application Settings pages while they work on improving performance and reliability.
- Updates VPN connection logic based on feedback so that if you disconnect from a VPN, it will now uncheck the auto connect option (similar to how it is handled for Wi-Fi).
- Updated the text in the Add a Device dialog so that the list of Bluetooth examples includes drivers.
- Updated the Optional updates section that appears in Windows Update settings so that you can now copy the text in case you need it.
Bug Fixes
- Fixes an issue that caused flickering in applications and the Windows shell in the last two builds.
- Fix an issue that causes IIS settings to be set to default after taking a new build.
- Fix a bug that caused a transient access error when quickly switching between WSL distributions using File Explorer integration.
- Fixes an issue that affected the reliability of explorer.exe for some Insiders.
- Fixed an issue that caused Settings and volume in the taskbar side menu to fail recently when selecting certain endpoints from the audio endpoints list.
- Fixed a bug that could cause the VPN to not connect automatically (if configured to do so) after update .
- Fixed an issue where the battery icon on the lock screen would always display near empty, regardless of actual battery levels. If you are still experiencing this issue, please report it to the Feedback Hub.
- Fixed a recent issue where if you opened the laptop after going to sleep and was connected to an external monitor with an external camera, Windows Hello would recognize it but not dismiss the lock screen.
- Fixes an issue that could cause the device to bugcheck after it has been idle.
- Fixes a bug that caused certain Bluetooth mice to take a long time to reconnect to your device after being asleep.
- Fixes an issue that prevented you from exiting the Connect app settings dialog with a mouse.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Windows Security Core Isolation feature to not be enabled on certain devices recently.
- Fixes an issue that caused Windows Update to fail with error code 0x800700b7.
- Fixes a bug that could cause Windows Update to check for updates to not complete and show them as in progress until the update Setup was closed and reopened.
- Fixed an issue where some of the buttons and links on the Language Settings page were not the correct color when using high contrast.
- Fixes a bug where text in the Optimize Units window in the Scheduled Optimization section would be truncated in several different languages and at certain text scale levels.
Known Bugs
- Continuing issues with Narrator and NVDA looking for the latest version of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium may experience some difficulties when browsing and reading certain web content. The Narrator, NVDA, and Edge teams are aware of these issues. Older Microsoft Edge users will not be affected. NVAccess has released the NVDA 2019.3 patch that resolves the known issue with Edge.
- Try to find reports of the update process hanging for long periods of time when trying to install a new build.
- It can cause the error 0xc0000409 to appear when updating.
- The icons for Documents and Downloads in Privacy are not rendering well and you can see a rectangle instead of what you should.
