Some users complain about a blue screen of death after installing the optional patch for Windows 10 1903 and 1909
Table of contents:
A few days ago we saw how Microsoft launched an optional cumulative update for its equipment under the number B4532695. An update that arrived for both Windows 10 May 2019 Update (1903) and Windows 10 November 2019 Update (1909) that apparently is causing problems on some computers
Failures that are causing the appearance of the dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSoD, in English, Blue Screen of Death) as well as audio problems for other users.A patch released to correct some problems and yet is causing others that were not expected
Blue screen
Regarding the Blue Screen of Death, or BSOD, this bug, according to some users, has appeared after installing patch B4532695for Windows 10. An update that is held responsible for the appearance of BSODs but also for boot times that are classified as excessively slow. In fact, they claim that after uninstalling this patch, the blue screen issues disappear.
The threads in the Microsoft help forums are full of comments about it, although Microsoft has not reported any problem for nowon the support page.
It seems to be not a massive problem and it only occurs in a very specific number of users. Hopefully Microsoft will study the case and consider releasing a new patch that fixes this problem.
Also problems with audio
And along with the blue screen of death, other users are complaining that after installing the optional update, their computer is having audio problemsApparently the patch conflicts with some sound card drivers which causes the audio to drop out and stop playing. This is how opinions of affected users appear:
In this case, some claim that it is solved if the Intel drivers are updated, and thus the equipment recovers normal audio.
We must be vigilant in the event that Microsoft announces a new patch or if on the update support page that supposedly, causes failures, they end up making some reference to them.
