Windows 20H1 branch continues on its way: Microsoft releases Build 19035 for the Fast and Slow rings

Microsoft continues to release updates as part of the Insider Program and in what amounts to a parallel or almost parallel path followed by the different Windows builds that hit the market for general users. And this time the Slow and Fast rings benefit simultaneously.

For both rings Microsoft has made available Build 19035, a build that continues to improve and refine the development of the 20H1 branch, a version of Windows that is presumed will arrive loaded with new features.Hence the importance of these releases: try to eliminate possible failures and improve the operation before the arrival of a Build of this caliber on the market.

Considering that Windows 10 November 2019 Update has been such a light update, the 20H1 branch or whatever it's called at the end should be a more powerful build. In fact, at Microsoft they have already warned that they will not use the system used with the Build released a few weeks ago. And going back to Build 19035, these are the improvements it brings.

Changes, improvements and corrections

• The build watermark that used to appear in the lower right corner of the desktop disappears and is no longer present in this build.

• Ends the experiment related to the way Microsoft releases driver updates through Windows Update. Participants will no longer see this path Optional Updates in Settings > Windows Update."

• Fixed an issue related to the previous section where after successfully installing the printer drivers from the Optional Updates section, the same driver still appears as available for installation"

• Fixed an issue that could cause fingerprint, if enabled, to sometimes not appear as a login optionafter waking your device from sleep.
• Fixed an issue that could cause certain applications not to start the first time you tried after resetting the application to via Settings.

Known Issues

• BattlEye and Microsoft have encountered incompatibility issues due to operating system changes between some Insider Preview builds and certain versions of the BattlEye anti-cheat software.To avoid issues in these cases a support hold has been enabled on these devices so they are not offered affected builds.
• Some Insiders have reported that when they try to install recent builds, they get the error code 0xc1900101 In some cases, the update completes with success on a subsequent attempt. If this is your case, send your comments to the Feedback Hub.
• Checking for reports of the update process hanging for long periods of time when trying to install a new build.
• Checking for reports of certain external USB 3.0 drives not responding with Start Code 10 after they are connected.
• There have been reports of the Optimize Drives app incorrectly reporting that optimization has never run on SSD devices.
