Microsoft's Patch Tuesday is here: November patches fix bugs for all versions of Windows 10

• Security updates are added for Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Edge, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Cryptography, Windows Virtualization, Windows Linux, Windows Kernel, Windows Datacenter Networking, and Microsoft JET Database Engine.

Windows 10 1809 or October 2018 Update

For computers running Windows 10 on version 1809 October 2018 Update), Microsoft has released build 17763.864 under patch 4523205. A Build that adds these improvements and can be downloaded manually from here:

• Fixes an issue that could cause the Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) service to stop running and stop sending report data.
• Provides protections against the Intel® Processor Machine Check Error vulnerability (CVE-2018-12207). Use the registry settings as described in the Guidance KB article. (This registry setting is disabled by default.)
• Provides protections against Intel® Transactional Synchronization Extensions (Intel TSX) Asynchronous Transaction Abort Vulnerability (CVE-2019-11135).Use the registry settings that are described in the Windows Clients and Windows Server articles. (These registry settings are enabled by default for Windows Client OS editions and Windows Server OS editions.)
• Security updates for Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Input and Composition, Microsoft Edge, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Cryptography, Windows Virtualization, Windows Linux, Windows Kernel, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Peripherals, and the Microsoft JET database engine.

Windows 1803 or April 2018 Update

For users still running Windows 1803, Microsoft has released build 17134.1130 with patch KB4525237. A Build that can be downloaded from here and that presents these new features:

• Addresses an issue that causes events that rely on Windows Defender Application Control Code Integrity to be unreadable.
• Provides protections against the Intel Processor Machine Check Error vulnerability (CVE-2018-12207). Use the registry settings as described in the Guidance KB article. (This registry setting is disabled by default.)
• Provides protections against Intel® Transactional Synchronization Extensions (Intel TSX) Asynchronous Transaction Abort Vulnerability (CVE-2019-11135). Use the registry settings that are described in the Windows Clients and Windows Server articles.(These registry settings are enabled by default for Windows Client OS editions, but disabled by default for Windows Server OS editions.)

Microsoft has released cumulative update 16299.1508 with patch KB4525241.Windows 10 in version 1709 or what is the same, Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, is no longer supported, so these updates will arrive only for those who have the Enterprise versionIt can be downloaded from here and these are the improvements and bugs it contains:

• Updates to improve security when using Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.
• Updates to improve security when using external devices (such as game controllers, printers, and webcams) and input devices such as a mouse, keyboard, or pen.
• Updates to improve security when using Microsoft Office products.

For these customers, the cumulative update has been released under the KB4525236 patch that can be downloaded from here. These are the improvements it brings:

• Updates time zone information for Norfolk Island, Australia.

• Provides protections against Intel® Transactional Synchronization Extensions (Intel TSX) Asynchronous Transaction Abort Vulnerability (CVE-2019-11135).
