The patch released by Microsoft to correct CPU consumption causes a new error in the start menu searches

Microsoft's recent history with updates is worth studying. Suffice it as an example the one that arrives destined to solve a problem that in principle they denied and uqe in the end they have ended up admitting. We were expecting this week the patch to fix excessive CPU usage and it has finally reached all users.
Patch Tuesday for the month of September 2019 is a reality and those interested can already get hold of the KB4515384 patch that is intended to correct the aforementioned bug. An update that, however, pseems to be causing new problems.
Bug fixed…
The update arrives to fix the SearchUI.exe crash that occurred when users disabled the web search function using the toolbar operating system search. This failure caused the well-known exaggerated consumption of the CPU and therefore a decrease in the performance of the equipment and the user experience.
The KB4515384 patch can already be downloaded, but apparently, along with the bug fixes (security and system), it adds new ones not previously present. And it is that although on the support page they have marked the error as resolved, now we must talk about new failures
A new failure
The reason is that this patch is causing a critical bug that affects searches made from the Start menuThis causes errors such as pages that do not load or loading icons that go on forever on the screen to end up with it being blank. Something that those affected complain about on Reddit, in different threads.
Hopefully, therefore, Microsoft will once again release a patch that fixes the bugs generated by the most recent fix patch . A real nonsense for a company of such caliber that these failures can occur and that causes many users to wait longer each time before updating their equipment.
While that time arrives, the most radical solution is to remove the update from the affected device. For this it is necessary to go to the route Settings, Update and security and within it Click on View update history The next step is to use the option Uninstall updates by checking the update KB4512941 and then clicking the Uninstall button"
