Microsoft releases two new Builds within the Insider Program in the Release Preview Ring

In the middle of the week and we are talking about new Microsoft Builds and we are speaking in the plural since with this launch the Redmond-based company returns to branch the launch according to the build that each team is currently using.

The Builds released by Microsoft have the number 18362.385 and 18363.385 respectively and correspond to the KB4517211 patch. Both are released on the Release Preview ring, the first arriving within the 19H1 branch while the second is a preview for the 19H2 branch.

The distribution will vary depending on the build each team is currently using:

• Thus, members of the Insider Program who are in the Release Preview Ring on branch 19H1 and with Build 18362.329 will have access to Build 18362.385 .
• For their part, Release Preview Insiders who are on 19H2 Build 18363.329 will be able to download Build 18363.385.

Improvements and news

• This update includes 5 fixes to address issues with Windows containers and allow the host to run down-level containers on the top-level for sandboxing (Argon).
• Added a fix to allow OEMs to reduce ink latency based on the hardware capabilities of their devices instead of being limited to the latency selected in the typical hardware configuration by the operating system.
• Key rotation or key rotation feature enables secure transfer of recovery passwords across MDM managed AAD devices on demand from Microsoft Intune/MDM tools or every time the password is used recovery to unlock the BitLocker protected drive. This feature will help prevent accidental disclosure of the recovery password as part of users manually unlocking the BitLocker drive.
• Introducing a change to allow third-party digital assistants to activate voice over the lock screen.

• Microsoft has enabled Windows Defender Credential Guard for ARM64 devices for additional protection against credential theft for enterprises deploying ARM64 devices in their organizations."
• Microsoft has enabled the ability for enterprises to supplement the Windows 10 in S mode policy to allow traditional Win32 (desktop) apps from Microsoft Intune.
• Microsoft has updated search in File Explorer to display web-based suggestions in addition to files indexed locally on the PC.
• Microsoft has added the ability for Narrator and other assistive technologies to read and learn where the FN key is located on keyboards and what state it is in (locked versus unlocked).

In addition, this update will now be offered if you use Windows Defender Application Guard (WDAG) or containers.
