Protects computers against a new type of vulnerabilities known as Microarchitectural Data Sampling. Affects 64-bit versions of Windows (CVE-2018-11091, CVE-2018-12126, CVE-2018-12127, CVE-2018-12130. Registry settings should be used as described in Windows Client and Windows Server (These registry settings are enabled by default for Windows Client OS editions and Windows Server OS editions.)
- Fixed an issue that reduced Internet Explorer performance when using roaming profiles or not using the Microsoft Compatibility List.
- Fixed an issue with text fonts in Excel (MS UI Gothic or MS PGothic) that could cause text, layout, or cell size to become narrower or wider than the expected.

After installing this update, users may experience the error ?0x800705b4? when they start Windows Defender Application Guard or Windows Sandbox. To solve this, they recommend using the credentials of a local administrator to create and configure the following registry keys in the Host OS and then reboot the Host with the following steps:
