Microsoft continues preparing the arrival of Windows 10 APril 2019 Update with another build released in the Insider Program

In the middle of the week it's time to talk about updates and in this case about a new compilation aimed at polishing the latest details of Windows 10 April 2019 Update. You know we're talking about the 19H1 branch, which gave rise to the big spring update that we'll see in a few days.

Specifically, it is Build 18361, a compilation that reaches users who are within the Insider Program in the Ring Fast. An update that, as is to be expected at this point, offers little new and seeks above all to correct errors and system failures.

General changes, improvements and fixes

• Fixed an issue that prevented certain virtual machines from being able to install or update Windows Insider Preview builds. The failure caused a black screen with the Windows logo.
• Fixed an issue that caused some Insider Program users to experience unexpected BitLocker messages when attempting to encrypt certain drives, even causing that could not encrypt them.

Known Issues

• Starting with Build 18356, Microsoft Store app updates are not installed automatically. The solution is to search for and install updates manually through the application by going to the ?Downloads and updates? and ?Get updates?.
• The use of games that use anti-cheat software (anti cheating) may cause a bugcheck (GSOD).
• Creative X-Fi sound cards are not working properly. They are still working to fix the bug.
• Some Re altek SD card readers do not work properly. They are investigating the problem.

Known Issues for Developers

If any of the recently released builds are installed in the fast ring and then switched to the slow ring, optional content such as enabling developer mode will fail. The solution is to stay in the fast ring to add, install, or enable optional content. This is because optional content will only be installed on builds approved for specific rings.
