Microsoft continues to release builds to polish the big fall update: Build 18855 hits the Insider Program

The 201H1 branch is in charge of giving life to the great update that Microsoft is already preparing for autumn. A Build that looks beyond the imminent arrival of Windows 10 April 2019 Update, adding improvements and new features of which a new Microsoft Edge stands out.
To correct errors for the future, have released Build Build 18855, which is available to users signed up for the Program Insider inside the Skip Ahead ring.A Build that, as we have said, belongs to the 20H1 branch and that comes loaded with new features to try in order to generate the necessary _feedback_.
General changes, improvements and fixes
- When Windows restarts for updates, Notepad automatically restores unsaved content.
- The microphone has been enabled in Windows Sandbox.
- They have introduced a new feature that allows you to configure the audio input device via the Windows Sandbox configuration file.
- Fixed bug that could cause the Windows Sandbox time zone to not sync with the host.
- Added the Shift + Alt + PrintScreen key sequence in Windows Sandbox, which activates the easy access dialog to enable high contrast mode.
- Added the ctrl + alt + break key sequence in Windows Sandbox that allows you to enter/exit full screen mode.
- Fixed a bug that caused some Insiders to experience bugchecks when closing the lid, monitoring the plug, or unplugging the monitor.
- Fixed an issue that caused preferred locales to be reset when upgrading on recent flights.
- Fixed a bug that caused the Chinese version of several games to not work. (we already saw it yesterday)
- Fixed an issue that could cause some drivers to hang the system on load, which could manifest as a crash on update, depending on the system.
- Fixed a bug present in recent builds that could cause monitors to be missing in the built-in color management application.
- Fixed an issue that caused Explorer.exe to crash for some Insiders when the content of the Jump list was updated
- Fixed bug that could cause text scaling values not to persist across updates for Win32 applications.
- There is a Narrator read reliability issue for the ?Change how uppercase text is read? feature, so the feature has been disabled as of build 18855.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the touch keyboard to fail when switching from IME-based languages to another language.
Known issues still present
- When starting games that use a cheating system, a green screen of error (GSOD) will appear. A bug they are working on.
- They continue to work on improving the performance of the night light.
- "When performing Reset this PC and selecting Keep my files on a device that has reserved storage enabled, the user will need to initiate an additional reboot to ensure reserved storage is working properly again. "
- Some Re altek SD card readers do not work properly.
- Creative X-Fi sound cards are not working properly.
- They are investigating an issue that prevents VMware from being able to install or update Windows Insider Preview builds. Hyper-V is a viable alternative.
Known Issues for Developers
If you install any of the recent Skip Ahead builds and switch to the fast ring or slow ring, optional content such as enabling developer mode will fail. You will need to stay in the fast ring to add/install/enable optional content.This is because optional content will only be installed on builds approved for specific rings.
