As usual in these cases, a series of known problems are still present, both for users at a general level and for developers. Problems we now review:
- Launching games that use anti-cheat software may cause a bugcheck (GSOD).
- This build seeks to fix issues that appear when using third-party applications to adjust screen color. They are still investigating feedback on this.
- Screen calibration issues may occur with some monitors.
- When using the Reset PC option and selecting Keep my files on a device that has reserved storage enabled, the user will need to initiate an additional reboot to ensure reserved storage is working properly again.
- Some Re altek SD card readers do not work properly.
- The color of the mouse pointer may have incorrectly changed to white after logging out and logging back in.
- Creative X-Fi sound cards are not working properly.
- They are investigating an issue that prevents VMware from being able to install or update Windows Insider Preview builds. Hyper-V is a viable alternative.
Known Issues for Developers
If a developer installs any of the recent builds inside the fast ring and then skips to the Slow ring, optional content such as enabling developer mode will fail. You must stay in the fast ring to add, install, or enable optional content.
"The update can now be downloaded if you are part of the Skip Ahead ring by going the usual route, that is, Settings > Update and Security > Windows UpdateAn update that is focused above all on improving the performance of the operating system."
