Microsoft Launcher for Android is updated for everyone: Windows 10 Timeline comes to Android devices
At the beginning of October we saw how one of Microsoft's most interesting features: Timeline reached the beta version of the application that could be found on the Google Play Store. Android-based devices could begin testing this enhancement.
Timeline came to Windows 10 with the April 2018 Update version that arrived in spring and allows users to access all our activity in a simple way through an easily accessible timeline.A utility that now reaches all users of the green robot operating system.
And Microsoft has decided to implement Timeline in the public version of the Launcher for Android. The application, a complete success in downloads in the Google application store, now reaches version 5.0 and offers access to this improvement for all those who install it on their phone.
It is the main novelty, but not the only one offered by Android Launcehr 5.0. And it is that the new features that we already saw in the beta version are implemented. This is the list of improvements that we will see:
- The use of the Feed has been improved, with improvements in the Glance, News and TimeLine tabs and adding the option to access the settings at the top.
- Now it is compatible with TimeLine so that we can continue on the phone the activities started from the PC and vice versa.
- Improved the experience when accessing news in Microsoft News.
- Cortana now allows sending emails.
- Child safety is improved: Parents can now see the real-time location of their children.
- Cortana now supports German language usage.
The Microsoft launcher is updated therefore with interesting improvements. The American company is creating an application at the height of the best application launchers that we can find on Android, which are not just a few.
The only drawback we can make, for now, is that Cortana continues to ignore Spanish and therefore Spanish-speaking users they cannot take full advantage of Microsoft Launcher.
