So you can disable the preview of open windows from the taskbar in Windows 10
If there is an almost indispensable element in our computers, that is the taskbar. What would we be without that instant access to the most used applications and programs that saves us from having to navigate through the application menu?
A taskbar that with Windows 10 was updated by offering the ability to display a preview of each open application on the same bar tasks by simply hovering the mouse pointer over them. An improvement that, however, can be more of a nuisance for many users who prefer not to have this option activated.These are the steps to follow to disable the preview of open applications on the taskbar.
A method by which we are going to have to access the System Registry, a step that makes it advisable that on the one hand we count with a backup copy of the Windows 10 registry and another that we do not touch something if we are not sure what we are going to do."

We are going to call this new value ExtendedUIHoverTime and once created we will give it a value high enough to prevent it from opening that preview. The reason is that this command is in charge of determining how long it will take for that window to appear since we pass the mouse
The time, measured in milliseconds, should be quite high. You can try for example with 40,000, or what is the same, 40 seconds.
This will be the time it will take for the window to appear since we hover the mouse over the bar. More than enough time to avoid having to see the window again every time.
