Microsoft releases Build 17763 for Slow Ring insiders and rumors suggest that it may be the RTM version

Two days ago we saw how Microsoft released Build 17763 within the Fast Ring in the Insider Program. A compilation in which many of us have already seen what could be the RTM version (Release To Manufacturing) of Windows 10 October 2018 Update. A version ready for release.

We have now learned that the same build has made it to the Insider Program Slow Ring The same build in both rings and for all compatible devices, including Xbox One and HoloLens.Does it mean that this can be the RTM of Windows 10 October 2018 Update?.

Remember that Build 17763 added quite a few fixes and very few bugs were still present. If we review, these are the improvements it introduced:

• The build watermark no longer appears in the lower right corner of the desktop. This point is striking.
• Using a Flash element in Microsoft Edge with two or more fingers could no longer cause the tab to hang.
• Fixed problem with thumbnails and icons, which could not be rendered if there were video files saved on the desktop.
• Fixed bug that caused certain Bluetooth audio devices to not play sound in apps that also used the microphone.
• Fixed an issue that caused battery usage to increase unexpectedly when using certain apps like OneNote.
• Fixed an issue in PowerShell, which was not displaying characters correctly in Japanese.
• Fixes an issue that caused display scaling factors to not be applied correctly when displaying a remote desktop window full screen on a monitor set to certain display scalings.

We are not going to know if it is an RTM version, because unlike Apple, which does have the Golden Master version when its new operating system is ready, from Redmond they don't announce if a compilation is final or not and last before release.

What is clear is that the calendar is running and right now we are approaching those 31 days that October has, dates on which Microsoft should release the fall updateif you want it to match the name Windows 10 October 2018 Update.In fact, we already saw how the April update arrived on the last day so as not to spoil the name…

The proximity of the dates mean that every time a build comes out, it has more ballots to become the RTM version, although Microsoft never recognize it. _Do you think that in this case we are facing the definitive version or that there are still more builds to be released?_"
