Has the final name for Redstone 5 been leaked? Rumors point to a name: Windows 10 October 2018 Update

And looking at the background, with Redstone 5 it seems that they will repeat the movement, opting to play with the names of the months to form the final denomination that in the end would look like this: Microsoft Windows 10 October 2018 Update.

The information has been released by the active Twitter user, WalkingCat, a regular when it comes to disclosing and filtering Windows news. Microsoft Windows 10 October 2018 Update would be the chosen name to continue the naming style started by Windows 10 April 2018 Update. A piece of information confirmed by another user pointing to the Windows Insider program, which has been able to verify that the same name appears after executing a command in Windows PowerShell.

Microsoft joins the naming game Google started it with the versions for ANDroid and their names of desserts following the letters of the alphabet . Android Marshmallow, Nougat, Oreo... and Android P is coming, with rumors pointing to a definitive name, Android Pistachio. Likewise, Apple has changed the name in its versions for MacOS, going from using names of felines to using names of mountain ranges.

We can only wait for the moment to know the definitive nomenclature that Microsoft gives to Redstone 5. We will have to wait until September, October or even November ,to get rid of doubts.
