Microsoft doesn't want to be tied down with Windows 10 S Mode and could offer an easy way to get out of this version of Windows
One of the most attention-grabbing developments last year was the announcement and launch of Windows 10 S. An almost armored operating systemThe ideal tool to have greater control and offer improved security to equipment used in certain environments such as education.
And with everything that was supposed to be good, the poor reception seems to have made good friends with Windows 10 S Too many limitations. So many that it may not be worth the security that it is supposed to offer for a large majority of potential users. That caused Redmond to look for a third way that would satisfy everyone. Its name was Windows 10 S Mode. But if you're still not satisfied, Microsoft already indicates how to get out of this version of Windows.
It has been announced by Richard Hay, editor of ITPro. And it is through the Microsoft Store, an application or utility created for this purpose, through which the American company will allow users to abandon Windows 10 S Modeand switch to one of the traditional versions of Windows, either Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro.
Owners of a computer running Windows 10 S will be able to use this formula but only if they are running a build that is based on in Windows 10 Spring Creators Update (or April Update, which name is unconfirmed).
The drawback, if it can be called that, is that once the process has been carried out there will be no way to return to Windows 10 S from the Windows options operating system itselfWhat we do not know is what would be the method to leave Windows 10 S Mode behind, if it will be one more option within the Configuration menu or it will be through some system option."
Windows 10 S launched alongside the Microsoft Laptop and has received lukewarm reception from the public (40% of users started with Windows 10 S have ended up making the leap to the full version of Windows 10), including that of the sectors for which it was intended, caused Microsoft to take a small turn of the helm with the launch of Windows 10 S Mode.
"With this S Mode users are offered the possibility to choose between a more secure version (and maybe limited)or a complete version It is a rumor for now, so until we have some official confirmation nothing can be guaranteed. An option that seems to be not enjoying the approval of the market either."
