Microsoft shows some of the improvements we can test with Sets before their arrival in Redstone 5

We've recently seen how the possible naming for the next big Windows 10 update has been leaked again Spring Creators Update seems to have almost every chance of being the final name chosen for an update due this spring.

An update that will come with improvements such as the expected Timeline to improve the management we do of the applications in our team, improved support for HDR or better integration of Fluent Design. And we will also have some absences, such as Sets, a system of tabs similar to the one used in Chrome with which to better organize the use of the different applications of our equipment.

And the fact is that Sets will not arrive with Redstone 4 or Spring Creators Update and we will have to wait until the end of the year with Redstone 5 to be able to know how it works.

Sets can also be used in Win32 applications

Sets can be a huge improvement for Windows 10 users Sets is designed to ensure that everything related to daily tasks is connected and available with a single click. An enhancement available for system applications such as File Explorer, Command Prompt, Powershell, Notepad and even UWP applications such as Mail, Calendar, OneNote or Edge to name just three examples.

The novelty is that we now know that Sets can also be used in Win32 applications so that the applications that can benefit from this system will grow noticeably.

In fact, they even already advance some of the commands that can be used with Sets, an extra help for those insiders who are already testing the new Restone 5-flavored Builds. These are the four commands to work with Sets that Microsoft teaches us.

• Ctrl + Win + Tab: Switch to the next tab.
• Ctrl + Win + Shift + Tab: Switch to the previous tab.
• Ctrl + Win + T: open a new tab.
• Ctrl + Win + W: Close current tab.

Sets is a feature that allows you to create environments with different tabs each corresponding to an application.It is about facilitating productivity, since in each set we could have a series of tabs grouped by theme. For example, an environment where we had three tabs with Word, Excel and PowerPoint to make it easier to switch from one app to another. This is what you're supposed to get to Win32 applications.
