Microsoft releases a new Build for Fast Ring Insiders but be careful if you use Augmented Reality

We return to the topic of updates launched by the Redmond company. And it is that with a draft update at the gates this spring (Spring Creators Update) it is quite normal that they gradually prepare the ground in which must be cast.

And that's where we are when Microsoft launches a new Build that, as usual, arrives before the Insider Program, in this case the Ring Fast, to be tested by users before being released generally.This is Build 17112 and these are the new features it contains.

Fixes and improvements

• Fixed issue where selecting a notification after taking a screenshot or gameplay clip would open the main Xbox app screen instead of the screenshot or clip.
• Fixed a bug where EFI and recovery partitions were showing up in Defragment and Optimize Drives.
• Fixed bug with optimize drives option not working in latest builds in Defragment and optimize drives.
• Fixed an issue where a window would be permanently black if you moved the tab out of the window in Microsoft Edge and dropped it at the top of the screen, then moved it back to the bottom bottom, and let go.
• Fixed the error that showed the Windows 10 S notice that you can not install applications outside of the Microsoft store from the file explorer, a notice that could not disappear and stay in the background of the explorer .
• Fixed a bug where there was unexpectedly extra space in the file explorer navigation pane before the folder expand/collapse icons.
• Now if the focus is on the notification center, pressing Esc already allows its closure.
• Fixed bug that could cause the computer to boot from hibernation if there were active live tiles pinned to startup by ShellExperienceHost.
• Fixed crash when using route System > System > Concentration assistant > ?Customize your priority list? which crashed the Configuration.

Remaining errors

• There may be problems with accessing the Microsoft Store which may appear as broken or missing after updating to this Build. Here you can find the solution.
• There may be an error when trying to open files that are only available online on OneDrive and have not been downloaded before so your PC may experience a green screen. It is solved by right clicking on the desired files and selecting ?Always keep on this device?.
• Some devices have an issue where the OS fails to load and goes into a reboot loop after upgrading, on reboot or turn offThose who suffer from this failure should disable fast boot. If this does not solve it, you have to create an ISO on a USB and start in recovery mode.
• When a user of the Movies & TV app is denied access to the video library (with the pop-up displayed), the app crashes when the user goes to the personal tab.

Windows Mixed Reality

In the case of Mixed Reality, this Build presents two errors that can affect its development. On the one hand, failures can occur when it starts. On the other hand, using a very low frame rate between 8 and 10 fps may cause users to experience physical discomfort. , which can create physical discomfort for users. If it is a fundamental section for you, you should ignore this build and wait for another one that corrects these errors. For this, you can go to Settings > Update and security > Windows Insider Program and click on “Stop receiving Insider Preview build” and choose “Stop updates for a while”.
