Microsoft is back in business and releases Build 16299.192 for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on PC

During Christmas we have seen how the release of updates and Builds by Microsoft has slowed down (something we have also seen in other systems such as iOS, Android, MacOS and their respective applications). Only in one specific case, and we have seen how the _affaire_ with Intel processors has been a good reason, has this Christmas placidity been broken. And now that the festivities are almost over, it seems that Redmond is resuming activity.

And Microsoft has released a new update in the form of Build 16299.192 (KB4056892) focused on Windows 10 Fall users Creators Update (Windows 10 on Version 1709). Let's see what new features we are going to find.

A Build, 16299.192, in which we are not going to find any great novelties and with which Microsoft is limited above all to the correction of errors without appreciating any new function.

  • Fixed issue where event logs stop receiving events when a maximum file size policy is applied to the channel.
  • The update fixes an issue where printing an Office Online document fails in Microsoft Edge.
  • Fixed issue where the touch keyboard does not support the standard layout for 109-key keyboards.
  • Fixed video playback issues in apps like Microsoft Edge that affect some devices when playing video on one monitor and a secondary mirrored display.
  • Fixed issue where Microsoft Edge becomes unresponsive for up to 3 seconds while displaying content from a software rendering path.
  • Fixed issue where only 4 TB of memory is shown as available in Task Manager in Windows Server version 1709 when more memory is actually installed, configured, and available.
  • Added security updates for Windows SMB Server, Windows Subsystem for Linux, Windows Kernel, Windows Data Center, Windows Graphics, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and the Microsoft Scripting Engine.

If you already have the equipment updated, with this Build only the improvements and corrections that you do not have installed will be downloaded. The deployment, as usual, will be gradual, so if it hasn't arrived yet, it's only a matter of time before it does. And when you install it, you can leave us your impressions about the performance it offers and the improvements added.
