Insiders of the Fast Ring and Skip Ahead can now download and install Build 17035 on their computers

This is Thursday, halfway through the working week and it's time to talk about launching builds, in this case one such as Build 17035that arrives for users who are within the Anillo Rápido and Skip Ahead within the Insider Program.

Mute-a-Tab: Now we can mute a tab that plays audio, something that has surely given you headaches in more of an occasion. For this we will see an audio icon that is shown when a tab is playing sound in order to silence them.

We can save EPUB books for free in the browser: Microsoft Edge now lets you save books in EPUB format if they're free.

- Near share is added: a new function is added when sharing that with the name Near Share will allow you to search and find nearby devices to share files with them via Bluetooth or links. We are going to need a PC with Bluetooth, turn on Near Share on the source PC and on the destination PC (we see it in the Notification Center), then look for the Share icon in any of your favorite applications and right-click Share which will display a list of devices at the top looking for the one we want to share with."

Changes in the Sound section: now we can access changes in the sound in the Configuration menu: we can modify some of the configurations of Sound in Settings > System > Sound.

Updated settings in Accessibility: We have additional new settings in Accessibility to complete the refresh of the settings that were first rolled out with the Build 17025.They are new sections in Display, Audio, Voice Recognition and Eye Control. Narrator settings have also been updated.

Touch Keyboard Improvements: Updated the touch keyboard to now have the Acrylic background and is now available in all languages except Korean, Japanese, Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

Simplified text insertion: Added some animations and changed the layout of the typing pad buttons by hand according to Feedback.

Improved word recognition: Type one letter over another and the writing pad will recognize your corrections more accurately than ever.
- We can use a gesture to put more space between words: by drawing a vertical line between two words, we will be able to create a space between them .
- Text Suggestions: Added the ability to see text suggestions while typing on a physical keyboard. To select the desired word, tap space or enter. This is a feature that only reaches English Learners, Education, and Accessibility.
Other improvements introduced
- Fixed an issue from the previous build where launching an app with a debugger attached would cause it to hang on the splash screen.
- Cortana knows to show location-based reminders when the default location is set to your home or office PC,
- Updated Cortana Collections to support light theme
- There will be possible failures due to changes in the Data Usage settings page in Settings> Network and Internet.
- Fixed an issue where some Store download errors were displayed on the Windows update history page.
- Updated Notification Center to now use Fluent Design Reveal.
- Fixed an issue and we can now swipe to remove Action Center notifications in the latest Builds.
- Fixed a problem when dismissing an alarm notification with the device locked.
- Fixed an issue where even if we uninstalled an app, the tile might still exist in the Start menu.
- Fixed an issue where, after connecting via Remote Desktop, the first local start of the Start menu would show Start briefly clipped in the top half before animating at the bottom.
- Fixed a bug that after updating the start menu, we could see multiple lists of applications with only the name ?NoUIEntryPoints-DesignMode? and a gray tile.
- Fixed a bug where it was not possible to rename files in File Explorer when using the ?Small Icons? view.
- Fixed a bug where using the File Picker from a UWP app would show an error saying ?multiple picks not allowed? when trying to select multiple images from a phone connected to PC via USB.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Start menu to crash in the last two builds.
- Fixed a bug that caused notifications with progress bars to not update while the Action Center was open.
- Fixed a bug that caused valid characters on the touch keyboard to be unexpectedly disabled in password fields for certain keyboards.
- Fixed an issue where you could not switch to alpha mode when using the touch keyboard with a third-party Japanese IME.
- Fixed a bug where the state of the input flag would not persist across reboot if it was set to something other than default.
- Fixed an issue that caused the touch keyboard to appear unexpectedly after setting focus to Launch when in tablet mode.
- Fixed a bug that caused ink strokes in OneNote to shift unexpectedly.
- Fixed issue where the touch keyboard would not appear in certain text fields when the keyboard was docked in tablet mode.
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused words to be duplicated when using the handwriting panel in certain applications.
- Fixed an issue with Forza Horizon 3 that would cause it to run unexpectedly with an ?graphics card incompatible? on some portable computer configurations.
- Fixed an issue where pressing Shift + Delete while editing a bookmark's URL would cause the bookmark entry to be removed.
- Fixed an issue from the previous build where changes made to About: flags in Microsoft Edge were not saved.
Persistent problems
- Possible failures in Mail, Cortana, Narrator or you are missing some features like Windows Media Player. If you suffer them, consult the Feedback Hub
- There is noticeable screen flickering when using hotkeys or the touchpad to switch between virtual desktops.
- Checkboxes may be missing in certain Win32 applications.
