You can now download Build 16278 for Windows 10 on PC if you are in the Fast Ring in the Insider Program
In the middle of the week one of the traditions is to have new Builds from Microsoft. A system to know before anyone else the new improvements that Redmond is preparing for future versions that will later be released to the general public. And in this case it's time to talk about a Build that reaches Windows 10 PC users within the Fast Ring of the Insider Program
A Build, in this case the 16278, in which we already miss the section for faults still present and that since last week is already history at Microsoft (unless it is about situations whose exceptionality justifies skipping this measure).A compilation of which we are going to know the main characteristics.
And this Build has been, as usual, announced by Dona Sarkar (this time in Thor mode). A traditional Build, that is, is left out of the new branch that is already starting to warm up engines with the aim of encouraging the arrival of Redstone 4 (Skip Ahead). "
In this sense this is the list of improvements and bug fixes that we are going to experience:
- Fixed a problem that occurred with recent Builds when having a secondary language installed.
- Fixed a bug where printing from 32-bit applications running on 64-bit versions of the operating system would crash when using the v3 print drivers in newer builds.
- The option to take HDR screenshots on PC via the Xbox app is removed for now.
- Fixed bug when dragging and dropping on websites in Microsoft Edge.
- Fixed bug that caused Microsoft Edge to crash when pinning certain websites to Start.
- Fixed bug that caused a tab in Microsoft Edge to show as a preview thumbnail, even though the mouse was not over the tab.
- "Fixed bug where viewing a video in Edge in full screen would disappear when using the Escape key."
- Fixed an issue in Edge when using images from Imgur.com.
- Fixed an issue that caused Emoji panel suggestions to get mixed up.
- Fixed an issue with some precision touchpads and builds where they could perform random gestures after returning from sleep.
- Fixed bug that caused the battery icon to incorrectly display ?PC not charging? while charging.
- Fixed bug where fonts used by shortcuts would crash and disappear from the fonts folder.
- Fixed bug that caused various apps to crash if they tried to log in to the app using Facebook.
- Fixed an issue where the Delivery Optimization Group / MDM policy was being ignored.
