Windows 10 for PC and mobile receives Build 14393.1198 belonging to Windows 10 Anniversary Update

And being a cumulative update for a long-standing version of Windows 10 it has a good number of improvements and fixes that we now move on to see in a wide list:

  • Fixed the bug that when changing the screen scaling settings, the DPI tools (Notepad, MS Paint, etc.) could not be used and that they allowed the input or the draw correctly when using the Japanese IME.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Windows Explorer CPU usage to be at 20% when placing an executable file on a file share.
  • Fixed bug where forwarding Windows events between two 2012 R2 servers caused reports to be incompatible with third-party security reporting and event management software.
  • Resolved an issue with the BitLocker Drive Encryption Wizard that caused the ?Choose which encryption mode to use? even when the BitLocker GPO is enabled.
  • Fixed bug with AppLocker not blocking binaries with revoked certificates.
  • Resolved an issue where a virtual machine (VM) fails to connect to the network if the VM does not send address resolution protocol packets for five minutes and the VM is connected to a Wireless NIC.
  • Resolved a bug that caused a Stop 0x27 error after a user provided the domain username and password.
  • Fixed a crash with creating folders on a USB flash drive when ?Deny write access? was set to Access Removable Storage.
  • Fixed a bug where crash dump generation hangs at 0% on a system with more than 750 GB of physical memory and Hyper-V enabled.
  • Fixed a bug with paging file space leak leading Windows to a blue screen.
  • Fixed issue that prevents access to a website when automatic resubmission of the renewed certificate is enabled.
  • Fixed an error in Services.exe with error code ?0xc0000374.

  • Fixed issue where Windows Defender Antivirus definitions prevented other updates from being downloaded.

  • Fixed issue where Internet Explorer 11 would not save JavaScript files when exporting to an MHT file.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Internet Explorer 11 to follow redirects when the Include-Referer-Token-Binding-ID header is set to ?true?.
  • Fixed bugs that caused web application disconnections intermittently.
  • Internet Explorer 11 New Tab has been updated with an integrated news feed.
  • Fixed other bugs with Windows Shell, Enterprise Security, Datacenter Networking, Storage Networking, Internet Information Services, Active Directory, Clustering, Windows Server, Client Platform, and Internet Explorer.
  • Added security updates for Windows COM, Windows SMB Server, Windows Server, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge.
