Windows 10 Cloud
Windows dominates the operating system market with authority. We have already seen on different occasions the market share of each and every one of the versions of the Microsoft operating system that are distributed throughout the planet.
A version that is characterized by offering more or less features but which is still a traditional operating system. Nothing to do with Chrome OS, Google's cloud-based operating system that allows the use of equipment that is lighter in performance and cheaper, something that has allowed a relative success in some market niches, especially the educational one.
And it was this success that may have given the people of Redmond pause for thought about the future of their platform. They will continue with the Windows we all know, that's clear, but _what would happen if we saw a Windows based on the cloud and focused on less demanding uses?_.
That is apparently what they are thinking from Redmond in information based on different industry sources and quoted in GSMArena. In this sense, the American company would be preparing to face the launch of a new operating system that would respond to the name of Windows 10 Cloud
It would be a reduced but above all lighter version of Windows 10 that would have its main difference in that it would not be able to use more than applications downloaded from the Windows Store, through the Unified Platform Of applications. In this way, it would be possible to avoid having to equip the equipment with heavier _hardware_, making it easier to create more affordable laptops, ideal for use in classrooms, for example.
Regarding Windows 10 Cloud we know little else. It is speculated that it could come out in mid-April, even coinciding with the launch of the long-awaited spring update, the Creators Update, but for Now it's just a rumor.
If Redmond finally took that step _how would you see the arrival of a cloud-based version of Windows? Do you think it could be successful?_
