The Creators Update will arrive in the spring (almost certainly in the month of April) and although there is still time, little by little we are learning more details, mainly due to the versions that the members of the Program can already test Insider and which include new features that will be released later

One of them refers to the space occupied in our equipment, a latent problem that affects to a good number of users, especially now that the computers or at least a part of them make use of SSD disks with a smaller capacity.Therefore optimizing storage is essential.

And this is one of the aspects that Microsoft has worked on in the Creators Update, because with the arrival of the update we will be able to see how the team manages storage. In this way, Windows 10 will free up space on our PC automatically.

This is possible thanks to the use of the Storage Sensor and it is through it that the equipment determines which temporary files are not being used in order to allow their elimination automatically."

Periodically therefore we can delete temporary files not used by our programs thus optimizing storage without the user having to do so have to intervene or at least not do it as before, diving and browsing options and applications.

To access and activate this option we have to enter Configuration and once inside go to section related to storage And although for now it is only available in the Insider Program in the fast ring, we hope that in not too long it will reach the other rings and later the general version.
