Microsoft releases Build 14901 Redstone 2 for Windows 10 PCs within the fast ring
With many of you about to start the weekend a new Build is coming from Microsoft that will surely make you feel something longer than expected pending on the computer, at least in the case of users of the Insider program within the fast ring.
And it is that from Microsoft they have released a new Build of Windows 10 for PC within the aforementioned fast ring; specifically the Build 14901 which is also the first Redstone 2 to reach the Insider program. A Build that comes with some interesting news that we are now going to see.
The person in charge of announcing this release has been, of course, Dona Sarkar through her account on the blue bird's social network. In the announcement we have the link that takes us to the Microsoft web page where the improvements that we are going to find in said update are detailed.
These are the improvements we will find:
- Education product enhancements with new notifications through File Explorer designed to help the user provide quick access and easy to information about things you can do to get a better experience with Windows 10.
On the other hand, some errors remain that we must take into account:
- support for kernel debugging over 1394 has been removed but will be available again soon.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader may quit unexpectedly on startup.
This new Build is rolling out gradually to affected Windows 10 users, so it may take some time to reach you . It is also the first sign of the arrival of Redstone 2 throughout 2017 if what is established in the Microsoft roadmap that we already saw in its day is fulfilled.
Also and on the way, Dona Sarkar has hinted that the Anniversary Update for Windows 10 Mobile is already well advanced, so that mobile platform users can calm down their desire to have their terminals updated.
