A while ago we told you how Build 14364 reached Insider program users within the fast ring and did so with a Lots of improvements to Windows 10 mobile devices. No PCs.

And it is that for Windows 10 on PC from Redmond they had prepared another update, in this case the Build 14366 which is already being released and that comes to add different corrections and performance improvements in Windows 10 for PC, also for Insiders of the fast ring.

From Microsoft they have prepared, as usual, a list of improvements and additions and Dona Sarkar has been in charge of announcing it in his Twitter account.

These are the improvements introduced:

  • Office Online for Microsoft Edge: We can use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Sway online without installing Office. Quick access to recent files thanks to integration with OneDrive and OneDrive for Business.
  • There is a Windows Store update: The store reaches version 11606.1000.43.0 and includes some performance improvements for avoid unexpected closings in the application and the use of many resources on the device.
  • Fixed issue with French translation that caused some text to be converted back to English.
  • Fixed a problem caused on PC and Mobile when trying to project to a computer
  • Fixed an issue where the start menu would not launch when installing an application for Chinese or Brazilian Portuguese languages
  • The size of the Windows Ink Workspace icon in the taskbar notification area has been updated to make it more consistent with other notification icons.
  • Search with Cortana has been updated so that when we right-click on a .docx file, we will see a context menu to open the location of that file.
  • Fixed an issue where the list of screens available in Settings > System > Screen would sometimes get out of order after clicking, causing scaling issues.
  • Fixed an issue where you could not return a full screen window from Remote Desktop if credentials were displayed while making a connection.
  • Fixed an issue where tile names could fall off tiles if zoomed.
  • Moved the ?recently added apps? under the section ?the most used? to improve accessibility.
  • Fixed an issue where an active VPN connection could crash our PC from sleep to hibernation.
  • Fixed an issue where Microsoft Edge used too much CPU when opening a page with many animated GIFs.
  • Also fixed an issue where the scrollbar might not draw a margin from the corner of the x in notification center notifications.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the cursor to not display while interacting with the system on Wacom tablets.
  • Fixed an issue where the Settings app would open a blank page after selecting a setting using search.
  • Fixed an issue where the file manager could return to shortcuts after deleting something from the folder being accessed.
  • Fixed an issue where existing reminders would not display correctly in Cortana, and an error when trying to save a new reminder.
  • Mobile Hotspot page updated to allow name IP address and MAC address selectable and can be copied when required.
  • Fixed an issue where battery notifications did not report correct charge status for devices with two batteries.
  • Fixed an issue where the title bar of dark theme apps would not turn black when the window is not in focus, examples are Groove Music or the Settings app.
  • Fixed an issue where you might sometimes see a progress indicator before the wallpaper loaded on the lock screen.

And along with the improvements, the bugs that continue to persist:

  • The desktop app converter might fail when trying to open it in this build so if you are a developer using this tool we suggest you skip these builds or switch to the fast ring until it is fixed the problem.
  • If you click a download link outside of Microsoft Edge, it will sometimes open a tab and close without doing anything.
  • The temporary solution is to go to the download panel and start it by pressing ?Save? or ?Save As??.

If you have received the Build you can leave us your impressions about its performance in the comments.
