Build 14342 is now available to Insiders

A few days ago we already announced the arrival of Build 14342 to Insiders within the fast ring so that they could start testing all the new features that it included and of which we already left you a summary. And after a very short time, this Build is available but in the slow ring

It has been, as usual on the other hand, Gabriel Aul was in charge of announcing this availability and he has done so through his Twitter account. In this way, if you belong to this group within the Insiders, remember that you can already access it, although for now and in this case se limited only to PC users

A long-awaited update that provides improvements in the form of necessary fixes, exciting additions to the Edge browser, improvements to notifications , optimization in navigation with gestures…

Among the improvements you will find we can highlight the following:

• Improvements in Microsoft Edge extensions. All extensions are now available in the Windows Store. The ones you have installed are deleted, you must download them again from the Windows Store
• new extensions available: AdBlock, Adblock Plus, Pin It Button, Mouse Gestures, Reddit, Microsoft Translator, OneNote and Web Clipper
• Real-time notifications come to Microsoft Edge, allowing websites to send notifications that will be displayed in the action center, with our permission
• Return to gesture navigation.
• Improvements in the Ubuntu bash. It is now possible to put symbolic links inside the Linux subsystem for Windows, it is now functional in Windows directories.
• Skype UWP update. It is now possible to select the dark theme and switch between different Skype accounts.
• Improvements in the Feedback Hub. Now the Assessment Center will suggest categories and subcategories based on the title we have written
• The workspace icon has been updated and now adapts to different monitor resolutions
• Very soon it will be possible to redirect certain web pages to open an application instead. There are currently no applications that support this feature

If you want to receive Build 14342 you must be an Insider in the slow ring and go to the route Settings=> Updates=> Security=> Check for new updatesto proceed with the download."

In this Build what can be seen and tested, at least in part, is a large number of nnew features that we will see in the upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary UpdateFor this reason these updates are so important, because we are getting closer and closer to knowing what this long-awaited _update_ can give of itself.
