Table of contents:
Just one week after Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 received build 14267 through the Insider fast ring, Redmond have decided to release a new version for PCs and tablets equipped with the latest of their operating systems: 14271.
The update -launched in full Mobile World Congress almost by surprise and as has happened with other of its predecessors- comes loaded with improvements that concern performance, interface and other functions; and fixes most errors detected.
This is build 14271 for PC
In this way, build gets rid of problems with application window borders changing accent color to black after upgrading to a new build; and updates the music control icons displayed on the taskbar in apps like Groove; his intentions? Give it a cleaner look and higher resolution.
Also, it alleviated the error that caused precisely this bar not to hide automatically and to appear at the top of some windows displayed in full screen unexpectedly. The applications that used to disappear from the desktop, on the other hand, have stopped doing so.
The option to hide notifications during a presentation is also present again and, regarding these and more generally, the inconveniences related to spaces disappearof the text. Other of its virtues have to do with the rapid change of user -which already works with Picture Password-, as well as the possibility of right-clicking on the entire header of an application in the Action Center, instead of just on the cross .
The build also makes it easier to dismiss notifications from a specific app and fixes a bug where the accent color didn't automatically change when the “” option was chosen slideshow” for the desktop background.
Some errors
Despite the update and since it is a build, some users have already detected certain errors, such as the freezing of some computers when the computer resumes from hibernation mode. A blue screen may also be displayed.
When it comes to navigation with Edge, graphics from the D3.js library do not display properly. Kaspersky antiviruses don't work well either and if we activate the option “always show all icons in the notification area”, the area margins change.
