Windows 10 November Update is now available through Windows Update
As it had been announced for some time, today November 12 has been the day chosen by Microsoft to launch thefirst major update (major update) of Windows 10, which unlike the old Service Packs, It doesn't just include bug fixes, performance and security improvements, it also adds new features and functionality, at no cost to users.
To download this update, simply go to Settings > Update and security > Windows Update and press the Check for updates button.An item with the name of Windows 10, version 1511, 10586 should immediately begin to download, and once there we can only wait for the installation to finish to then restart the computer."
If the update doesn't show up, don't worry either, as Microsoft is rolling it out rolling worldwide over the throughout the day We just have to wait a bit and try again later.
Among the most important improvements that come with this update are the following:
- Ability to enter commands in Cortana by typing to freehand with your finger or a stylus.
- Improvements in tablet mode that make it easier to switch apps with your fingers and use split screen mode.
- Cortana adds integration with Xbox Live, Uber, and LinkedIn, and is now also able to identify upcoming movies and concerts to those of us who will attend, in order to help us with the preparations.
- Microsoft Edge adds several much-requested features, such as tab previews on hover, and synchronization of bookmarks, passwords and history (unfortunately, support for extensions will have to wait until 2016).
