Here's what's new in Windows 10 Build 14332 for PC and mobile in the fast ring
Table of contents:
new Build that arrives for the members of the Insider program and about which they inform us in the Microsoft blogs… a Build that has the number 14332and is now available for both PC and _smartphones_ with a host of improvements and bug fixes.
The new Build, for now is only available for Insiders who belong to the fast ring (Fast Ring) and which stands out for being the first to participate in the Bug Bash, so that during the period that it lasts, four days, the participants will find challenges in the Feedback Hub, so that collaborate in the solution of errors in a much more effective way.
And at this point it is worth asking what improvements are we going to find in this Build, which known errors have been fixed and which ones still persist and above all, what innovations have Microsoft dared to incorporate... and pay attention because the list is long.
News we found in Build 14332
- Cortana can now search content in Office 365, including emails, contacts, calendar appointments, and files in OneDrive for Business and SharePoint. We just have to choose the appropriate filter (email, contacts, calendar or documents) we will find the highlighted results at the top.

Improved font selection and rendering for international characters, improvements to cursor rendering and hiding elements, improvements to changing the background color, and scrolling improvements in nano and EMACS editors.

- Has a problem been fixed in the mv call between units /mnt and non-/mnt ? files and directories will move correctly between the two points. For more information about the Bash updates in this build see the update notes.
- Battery improvements for PCs connected to standby: The same technology that employs battery saver has been implemented to reduce consumption of the PC when we are in rest periods despite having the PC turned on. This improves the autonomy of our device at rest.
In addition, Microsoft notifies us that if a problem is experienced, one of these two steps can be performed:
The first one is Go to Settings > System > Battery and allow the app you are interested in to be always connected in the background.
The second alternative if you want to return to the previous point of Connected to Rest, is to use this command in a command prompt window like administrator:
Note: To return to the Connected Idle behavior, you can use the command lines above but toggling between the “0” and putting a “1”. If you find a case in which it did not work as it should, you should send a message with the information so that they can solve it.
