Is there something you don't like about Windows 10? So you can tell Microsoft
The Windows 10 development has been characterized as a very participatory , where enthusiastic users have been given the option to give thoughts and feedback about how they would like the operating system to be, and then view those opinions reflected in actual changes that have been applied to new versions of Windows 10.
During that period, the possibility of giving opinions had been restricted to the Insider program, for very logical reasons: only the participants of this program could test the operating system in its preliminary phase. But with the release of Windows 10, Microsoft is making it possible for all users to provide feedback, criticism, and suggestions, which may be implemented in future updates .
In fact, everyone who uses Windows 10 can now send feedback to Microsoft. You only have to use the application Windows Opinions, pre-installed in the system (to open it you have to go to Start > write opinions about windows > select the first result that will appear )."
Within the application of Opinions about Windows we can see many of the opinions that other users have given. It is possible to explore them according to categories, through the sidebar on the left, see the most recent ones, or search according to keywords.
As a general rule, for our feedback to have more influence, it is recommended to seek first if another user has posted a similar opinion, and if so, give it an upvote instead of posting another similar opinion, which would split the votes among more opinions.
"If we do not find a similar opinion, then we can add a new one, by pressing the Add new comment button>"
There should appear a view like the following, where we can detail our problem or suggestion and assign it a category. Then we just click Publish comment, and with it our opinion will already appear published and it will also be sent to Microsoft
If after a while we want to see how many positive votes our feedback has received, we can use the filter located at the top of the app, selecting show only own comments.
It is worth mentioning that there are differences in the Opinions application depending on whether we are members of the Insider program or not. For example, being inside the Insider program allows you to send screenshots or even desktop recordings that reproduce problems, and also search and view feedback corresponding to preliminary builds by Windows Insider.
"Meanwhile, the general public can only view and search for feedback for the public version of Windows 10, to prevent Confusion may occur when you see issues that do not apply to our edition of the operating system."
