Trick: Access hidden Windows 10 options with just 2 clicks using this shortcut

Anonim

One of the things that Microsoft has sought to improve in Windows 10 is the system options, trying to unify them all in one new Settings app (which is available from the Start menu). However, due to time constraints, they finally did not manage to add all the system options in this app, and there are some aspects of Windows 10 that can only be customized using sections of the Control Panel.

The good thing is that in Windows 10 there is a way to quickly access these more specific options. They are mostly grouped together in a context menu that can be opened by right-clicking the Start button , or, by pressing the WIN + X keys.

Many of you reading this may already be aware of this menu, because it is available from Windows 8 onwards, but those upgrading from Windows 7 may not yet be aware of it.

These are some of the options that can be accessed with 2 clicks through this menu:

  • Programs and Features: The old program uninstaller, from which you can also uninstall system updates.
  • Mobility Center: Adjust the screen brightness, change the volume, set the power plan, rotate the screen, and set projection to external monitors (almost all of these options are available in the notification center as well).
  • Power Options: Quick access to all system power plans, along with other power management options. Very useful on laptops.
  • System—System information, such as specifications, architecture, Windows version, computer name, and the like.
  • Device Manager: Displays an exhaustive list of all installed devices and hardware components. It is especially useful when there are driver problems.
  • Network Connections—Allows you to view and configure each of the networks to which your computer is connected.
  • Command Prompt: Command prompt.
  • Disk Manager: from here it is possible to format and resize disk volumes, create partitions, etc.
