We are only a month away from the official launch of Windows 10 and Microsoft is stepping on the accelerator and giving away a new build to the members of the fast ring of its Insiders program, number 10158. This new version comes with numerous changes to Microsoft Edge, a more polished UI and a couple of new features for Cortana.
But the most surprising thing about the post with which Microsoft has presented its new build is that no bugs or known errors are announced, they just which is undoubtedly a reflection that Windows 10 is practically finished, and in the month of work that lies ahead they will limit themselves to finishing polishing its graphic finish and the new browser.
Changes in Microsoft Edge
Project Spartan has ceased to exist, and one of the main changes of this new build is that the brand new browser of the Redmond is finally beginning to use its definitive name: Microsoft Edge. This will mean that to continue using our favorites, cookies and history we will have to move them to the %userprofile%/Favorites folder.
In addition to this change, these are the other new features implemented by Microsoft Edge in this new build of Windows 10:
- From now on we can enable the expected Home button in Settings > Advanced Settings
- You can import favorites and bookmarks from other browsers.
- We will also find the option to change what we see when we start the browser.
- When we open a new tab now we can also choose between seeing only the most used pages or also a list of recommended ones.
- The option to fill in passwords and forms has been added. Microsoft Edge will allow us to manage the passwords of our favorite pages.
- The audio of the pages that we finally visited will continue to work once we minimize the browser.
- We can drag the tabs to open them in a new window.
- Microsoft Edge receives its long-awaited dark theme.

This build also fixes a few UI bugs, and implements new animations and better support for both classic andapps Windows 8/8.1 in its Tablet mode, which also includes the new option to swipe up in the start menu to show all our applications.
The taskbar also receives some changes On the one hand it returns to the horizontal progress bar with green animations when we are downloading something , and on the other hand, from now on, when an application needs our attention, it will start blinking orange.

Lastly, the Photos application has been updated with performance improvements and support for Gifs, the support tool now allows us to configure a 5-second wait and the Insiders Hub application is no longer pre-installed in our system, so to activate it we will have to follow these three steps:

- "Click on Manage optional features, and then on Add a feature"
- We select Insider Hub and click Install
