UI and Icon Changes in Leaked Windows 10 Build 10125
Table of contents:
We have been saying for a few weeks now that Windows 10 was entering the n phase of sheet metal and paint, and that once the Now it was time to experiment with the different graphic finishes with which it could finally reach the market.
After some recent changes that had been focused on the start menu, now it seems that the time has finally come for the icons and some elements of the system UI such as the jumplist, hamburger menu or calendar. Below we list the main cosmetic changes of this new build.
1. Icons
After certain controversies with the aesthetics of icons, already in March we warned you that there would be changes in this field, and it seems that the time has come to start showing those that could finally come in the final version.
2. Taskbar Jumplists
The Jumplists on the taskbar has also changed its aesthetics, and now it looks much more modern than the white one we've been testing for months.
3. Hamburger Menu
The icon of the so-called Windows hamburger menu, the one we see in the image on the upper left, now notifies us with a blue dot when there is a new application installed.
4. Date and Time
You will be with me that the date and time dropdown in Windows 10 until now looked horrible. Well, as you can see, it has also received a necessary facelift that gives it a much more modern appearance and in keeping with a modern operating system.
5. Progress bar
The progress bar displayed on taskbar icons now moves from top to bottom instead of left to right.
6. Tiles
The start menu tiles now no longer have 3D animations, losing one of the hallmarks that until now they had been maintaining.
