Leaked screenshots of a previous build show more details of the next version of Windows

We've spent weeks talking about the features of the next version of Windows, dubbed Threshold, but we lacked images to show its result on the screen. Now, thanks to screenshots from a previous build, we can begin to figure out what will look like in the future Windows, its new start menu or Modern applications UI on the desktop.

"

The German website ComputerBase.de has posted a series of screenshots of Windows Technical Preview build 9834 (not even Windows Threshold , nor Windows 9).It is one of the last versions of the system tested internally before the arrival of that technical preview whose release could be close. The start menu is already present in it, as well as the possibility of running applications from the Windows Store on the desktop or even the notification center."

Thanks to images from Microsoft itself and previous leaks we already knew, more or less, what the first two looked like. Thus, the start menu will move all its content to the left, leaving the right side for a column of tiles that mimics the appearance of the start screen in small. Modern UI apps, meanwhile, display as windows and include the charm bar charms in a drop-down menu from the icon in the upper right corner.

But apart from the above, the greatest novelty of this series of screenshots is represented by the presence of what appears to be a primitive version of the notification center It hides in a small icon near the system tray and appears as a pop-up where all received notifications should be listed. For now we can see little, since its appearance is too simple and it will probably undergo modifications before its final arrival.

Another screenshot also shows the Microsoft Feedback application In Redmond they want to get closer to users and this application should be used to collect your opinion and try to improve the operating system with your help. This process should start now with the public preview that could be available from the end of this month of September, so it won't be long before we can give our opinion on all the new features of the future Windows.
