Three Windows 8/RT applications to follow the World Cup in Brazil 2014
Table of contents:
In addition to Windows Phone, we didn't want to pass up the opportunity to comment on some Windows 8/RT applications to follow this championship, because Although the store is somewhat forgotten, it has some interesting applications to do this.
Bing Sports
The official Microsoft application is quite complete and full of information. In addition to synchronizing the settings we have made with the Windows Phone version, it also adds other interesting sections.
When we start the application, we will have a featured news along with a presentation image, then to the right we can configure the teams we follow and see more news. At the end we have a section dedicated to news about the soccer world cup
Then, by selecting a particular team, we can find the table of points, upcoming games and results of the previous ones, player squad and more.
Bing isn't just for soccer, it also has a host of other sports to bookmark.

Sofa Score
Sofa Score would be an ideal application if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't properly separate the results of the World Cup with international matches. Even so, it has some characteristics that make it an interesting option.
When we start the application we will have a simple cover with the list of the different leagues divided by countries, along with their respective results. To go to the World Cup, we must choose International, and those belonging to the title "World Cup" are those of the World Cup.
If we press on any match, it will show us the results of the match, what happened during it divided by schedules, videos, statistics and score table. All complete and updated.
Something… funny if you will, is that Sofa Score gives you the possibility to vote for the team that is playing, and then see how the voting is going around the world.
If we open the application options, you will see that there is a large list of sports to choose from and see their results.

Onefootball
Personally, I think it is the best application to not only follow the World Cup, but also to keep up to date with the latest news on this sport.Onefootball, which also has an app on Windows Phone, provides detailed information on what's happening and the results of each match.
On the main screen we will have the list of matches that were played and are about to be played in the World Cup. On the right we have the news, videos, and the competitions that we have added (World Cup is already configured).
When we go to the World Cup, we will see all the matches divided by the phases that are played. On the right we have the score table, news, videos, statistics about the best scorers, assists and more, and at the end the file of all the teams that are playing in the world (where we will see information about them).
If we select in a match, we will have the summary of what happened or is happening, the live update of the match, statistics, and alignment of each team.
Onefootball is a very good app to have installed on your Windows 8/RT device if you are a football fan. Plus, is free.
