How to put a slideshow on the lock screen in Windows 8.1

Windows 8.1 is just around the corner and with the update comes a handful of new features to customize our operating systems. One of these options is to give the lock screen more dynamism thanks to the possibility of replacing the static image with a presentation of several of them.

Activate the Image Slideshow is accessible to everyone from the system configuration and is a basic and simple first way to start customizing our equipment. In the following lines we will see how to do it step by step.

The first thing is to display the charms bar from the right side of the screen to access Settings, choosing within it the option Change PC settings .

Once inside, we must access the first of the main configuration boxes corresponding to the Lock Screen In it, under the view preview and the boxes with some of the backgrounds we will see the menu of Presentation If it is deactivated, we activate it by displaying the rest of the options.

Among the sections to be configured is the possibility of activating or deactivating the presentation when using the computer on battery, or the option of letting Windows choose the images and their order based on the folders that select.

To choose the images, just click on Add a folder and navigate through our system choosing those that contain them. When we have them, click on Accept and the images stored in them will become part of the presentation that will be launched when our computer is blocked.
