How to access the Surf game that comes with Edge and how to share your achievements with friends
Table of contents:
Edge is becoming increasingly popular as the browser of choice for day-to-day use and along with all the possibilities that we have been learning about up to now, hides a rather striking surprise in form of game with which to be able to pause during the hours of use of Edge.
The game is called Surf and it's a casual title, which doesn't mean it isn't addictive, which it is and a lot. It is a kind of easter egg present in all versions of Edge and that now we will tell you how to activate it in a few steps.
Simple and very addictive
Edge has Surf as an alternative to the great titles already known from Windows with which to liven up the hours of boredom. The difference is that to access Surf we will not have to click on an icon, but activate it through the browser.
To open Surf all you have to do is enter Edge, in any of the versions with Chromium engine that we can find at the market (including development) and in the search bar write edge://surf/.
This opens a new screen in which the first step is to choose the surfer we want to use and once selected we only have to use the left and right arrow keys to control all the moves and avoid obstacles. It's about going as far as possible It couldn't be easier.
And while Surf is present in all versions, Microsoft has implemented some gameplay improvements in Edge Canary by adding new obstacles that avoid, a new selection menu, and the ability to share achievements with friends.
To access these changes, simply enter the options menu (three lines on stable Edge and a cogwheel on Edge Canary) at the top right of the screen. Along with the types of game (navigate, time trial and zigzag) we can change the speed and in Edge Canary, share the meters traveled with friends.
