Microsoft releases an update in Teams so that virtual annotations can be used in PowerPoint

A functionality clearly aimed at organizers and presenters that allows use as a virtual laser pointer to focus attention on a point during a presentation. It makes it easy to add content and enhance exposure during a presentation.

In this sense, the user will have different annotation modes thanks to several tools that include different types of brushes or pens in various colors.It is the main change, although Microsoft added a series of details to clarify the use that can be given to it:

Annotations are accessible only during the active Microsoft Teams meeting and once the meeting is over they will not be saved in the presentation of PowerPoint.
Attendees who join the meeting later, will be able to view annotations made while they were away.
The function to create annotations is exclusive to Windows and macOS, not being available for iOS and Android, although the annotations will be visible in all platforms.

Microsoft plans to start supporting virtual PowerPoint presentations with an update that will be released in the next few days.
