These new features coming to the Microsoft 365 public roadmap include, for example, the ability to respond directly to a chat, the ability to join a meeting using a passcode, or the support for digital signature among other improvements
Easier to use
The first new feature is that Teams will allow you to respond to chat messages directly, an improvement that should be list throughout this month of April for the desktop version.
In addition, the creation of meetings is facilitated, since it will be possible to join using a code. An improvement that should also arrive in April and that will allow the traditional use of a URL to be replaced.
There is also a timer for meetings, so that when several groups form a meeting they can leave the room in an organized way thanks to to the use of an expiration timer. At the top, the meeting rooms close.
They also refer to digital signature support with third-party tools in order to sign documents digitally with Adobe Sign, DocuSign or other applications similar and do it within the desktop app. Adobe Sign will be the one to release this improvement, also in April.
Lastly, the number of available emojis is expanded with which you can react to messages. Teams jumps from the current 85 to more than 800, emojis that are divided into different categories to facilitate their use.
