All computers running some of the latest versions of Windows 10, that is, build 1803, 1809, 1903 , 1909 and 2004, you will see how the new version of Edge is installed on your computers. In fact, the replacement will be complete and once installed through Windows Update, it cannot be uninstalled.

Only computers running Windows 10 Enterprise or Education need to download the browser manually from the official Microsoft site, as the update will not be automatic. After installation, it is necessary to restart the system and configure Microsoft Edge again by logging into our Microsoft account.

And for those fearful of data, remember that passwords, bookmarks, open tabs... will all carry over to the new Edge.
