Improvements and news
- Outlook now allows you to use favorite add-ins that work with Office JavaScript. API 1.6 and later are fully supported and already work with support for API 1.7+.
- Sensitivity Labels—Easier to protect sensitive information across the enterprise. Messages can be classified based on their confidentiality and sensitivity to ensure that those viewing an email understand how they should treat the attached information.
- Stay on top of what's new: It's now easier to stay up to date on new features and capabilities within Outlook.It can be accessed by clicking the megaphone icon in the upper right corner of Outlook and tapping on the various feature and capability tiles to see short animations demonstrating the feature and even try out new features directly from each tile.
- People View: People view for the new Outlook for Mac is here, allowing you to browse and navigate your most common contacts and even those you want to follow up with, all from the same place. In addition, you can easily create new contacts and update existing entries directly from this new view.
- People Search: Search goes beyond email by helping you discover important contacts and colleagues. Searching for contacts works intuitively when you use people view: just use the search bar at the top of Outlook.While searching for a person, you can click their avatar image in the search suggestions to view additional details about them, such as their organization chart, name, and email address.
- Create Event from Email: You can now include all email recipients and the entire email thread in one event, all directly from the message.
- Suggested Times: When composing an event, Outlook will now take the guesswork out of suggesting a time when all attendees are available.
- Receipt Receipt: Outlook now lets you track who has opened and viewed a message by requesting read receipts when composing mail .
- Extended Search Additions: You can now narrow your searches by selecting “Add more options” to limit your search to fields like CC , Bcc, priority, read, status, the status of the indicator or category.

- Open Shared Calendars: View all appointments and appointments in one place with the ability to open shared calendars to which have been added and view them along with your personal schedule.
