Known Bugs
- Some users are seeing duplicate bookmarks after some previous fixes were made in that area. The most common way to fix the bug is by installing Edge's stable channel and then logging in with an account that is already logged in to Edge.
- After an initial fix, some users are still experiencing black windows. Both UI popups and menus are not affected and opening the browser's Task Manager and killing the GPU process usually fixes this bug.
- Some users are seeing wobbling behavior when scrolling using trackpad gestures or touch screens, where scrolling in one dimension also causes the page to scroll back and forth in the other. Note that this only affects certain websites and seems to be worse on certain devices. This is probably related to ongoing work to bring scrolling back to parity with Edge Legacy behavior, so if this behavior is undesirable, we can temporarily disable it by disabling the edge://flags/edge-experimental- flag. scrolling.
- There are some issues where users with multiple audio output devices sometimes get no sound from Edge. In some cases, muting and unmuting fixes this issue. In another, restarting the browser fixes it.
- At certain zoom levels, there is a noticeable line between the browser user interface and web content
Remember that you can download the new Edge at this link on any of the channels on the platforms on which it is available. If you already have it installed, just go to preferences within the browser and check if you have any pending updates.
