Microsoft updates Authenticator in beta for iOS: now it is easier to manage accounts and change our data

We are increasingly concerned about privacy and the use made of our data. And in the case of Microsoft, this function is represented by the Microsoft Authenticator app, a tool that is updated on iOS with improvements to make it easier to manage our passwords

Microsoft Authenticator is a cross-platform application, but now it is the version available on iOS, specifically the Beta version, that receives a new update. With this update Microsoft Authenticator allows, for example, we can change the password and do so without having to leave the application

In this sense, we can also update the security information so that in the event of a threat, the application and its use continue to be safe. In this way, we avoid having to access the web version in case we have to modify any data.This update also enables those who have an Apple Watch to receive security notifications on the Apple Watch and thus avoid having to remove pocket cell phone.

In regards to the interface, there are some changes and Microsoft has slightly modified the design of the application. Users can now expand information regarding each of their accounts in a full screen view. This screen offers different options related to our account and the objective is to facilitate access to data in case of risk for an account that may be at risk.

Remember that Microsoft Authenticator in the beta version can be tested through the TestFlight application.
