Improvements continue to arrive in the Your Phone app: now it is capable of showing the 2,000 most recent photos of the mobile on the PC

If you want to have a stable and reliable link between your PC and an Android phone, you can opt for third-party applications available on Google Play, in the case of AirDroid, or opt for a Microsoft development like It's the Your Phone application, an app that doesn't stop receiving constant updates and improvements.

We are not going to stop with the different updates that have given features to Your Phone that have made it one of the most successful applications from Microsoft Improvements to which another one now arrives that allows access to more content stored on the mobile from the PC.

Last 2,000 photos stored

It's not about making calls or sending and receiving messages. The improvement now focuses on improving access to multimedia content stored on the phone from the PC. And if until now it was possible to access the 25 most recent photos stored on the mobile, with the update of the app the number increases considerably

Your Phone is updated on Google Play and from now on the user will see how of 25 photos has access to the last 2,000 most recent photosthat are stored in the mobile phone. Something logical if we take into account that the smartphone plays the role of camera in our day to day and that it acts as a multimedia hard drive given its storage capacity.

I've just tried the app, which can be downloaded from Google Play for free at version number 1.19122.149.0 and I couldn't access the media files from my phone, because I experience an error that prevents me from synchronizing the gallery correctly (it only shows 25 photos), although the synchronization does work with messages.

To show the mobile photos on the PC through the Your Phone app, we must access the Settings of the application on the left bar and activate the switch with the title Allow this application to show the photos of your phone"

Remember that to use the app Your Phone you must meet a series of requirements: on the one hand, use a PC that runs at least Windows 10 April 2018 Update or later and a phone running Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later. The Your Phone app is pre-installed if you already have Windows 10 October 2018 Update or a later version.
