Rounded corners may have lost prominence in Edge within the Canary Canal after the recent update

On the one hand, the rounded corners that we had been seeing in the different versions, have been removed, or at least that's what they suggest on Reddit . Rounded shapes are replaced with sharper corners in the suggestion box. In my case, to compare it, I have tried the previous version, 79.0.298.0 and 79.0.300.0.
The reality is that when performing the test I have not perceived a change in the corners as accentuated as they claim on Reddit.
There are also changes to the private browsing indicator. While in the previous version, in Edge 79.0.298.0 it appeared surrounded by a frame with rounded corners, in Edge 79.0.300.0 it appears completely clear.
Some users reportedly complained to Microsoft that rounded corners didn't look right in Microsoft Edge and this may be the reason for the change.
It should also be remembered that the American company was already testing a new, friendlier design in Windows 10, following the guidelines of Sravya Vishnubhatla, Program Manager in Microsoft's Windows Fluent design team, the which asked the developers that future applications have an interface with rounded corners
