The Edge Dev Channel

A few hours ago we saw how Edge Canary already allowed, thanks to the latest update, to use the compatibility mode with Internet Explorer and we detailed the steps to follow to enable itIt was a first step before reaching what Microsoft announced back in the day to have IE in the form of a tab.
It was the update that was coming to Edge Canary and we were waiting to find out what news Microsoft reserved for the most conservative version, the one that appears within the Edge channel. The company has just released a new update on the Dev channel of the new browser under the number 77.0.197.1 and these are the novelties it brings.
Improvements and fixes
- Added an option to show only the individual favorites icon in the favorites bar.
- Has integrated support for dark themes on full page displays.
- Added more languages in which you can display Microsoft Edge.
- Added the ability to choose which categories of diagnostic data are sent with comments.
- Changed the ability to pin a website to the desktop and the ability to pin a website to the taskbar.
- Optimized the ability to import cards and payment information from certain browsers of the option to import other autofill data, such as names and addresses.
Error correction
- Fixed an issue where navigating to a website that was saved as a bookmark by typing its address in the address bar could crash the browser.
- Fixed an issue where opening DevTools in an InPrivate window would sometimes crash the browser.
- Fixed a bug where selecting an item from the address bar dropdown menu sometimes crashes the browser.
- Fixed an issue where logging out of the browser could cause the browser to crash.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to log in in the browser might cause failure.
- Fixed a crash when using Read Aloud.
- Fixed an issue where installation could fail.
- Fixed an issue where some bookmarks in the bookmarks bar would spontaneously lose their text.
- Fixed an issue on Mac where videos on certain websites would not cause the video controls to appear in the Touch Bar.
- Fixed an issue where searching from the address bar would not work with certain search providers.
- Fixed an issue where certain context menu items would appear incorrectly in some DevTools context menus.
- Fixed translation in some strings.
- Fixed an issue where the + button to open new tabs would sometimes not have the correct color.
- Responsiveness of drag and drop on the favorites page has been improved.
- Fixed some layout issues on the Plugins page when using certain localized constructs.
